I use the BEST suite app. More specifically I use the Check List and Stratigize My Life functions.
I have made many check lists to refer back to that have aided me in minimizing my neuro fatigue for many of my daily living activities. Example…I pretty much purchase the same items at the grocery and costco. I created “Master Lists” of the items I purchase at these stores. I review the list and actually check off the items I do not need so the items that I need are left unchecked. This aides me in staying focused and getting in and out of the store as quickly as possible. It also helps me stay on budget.
I also utilize the “Stratigize My Life” where I store the stratigies that I have found that work for the new me. So far I have the following catagories: How I learn, how I learn NOT, external memory, internal memory, organization, self regulation, social interactions, active learners credo, and positive affirmations. All of this is and me are a continued work in progress.
I use calendaring as well. I have apple products which I really love because my iPhone, iPad and Mac Book are all linked. If I schedule (make an appointment) in one in populates in all. I have learned to color code which really helps in reminding me to not over schedule myself by creating a visual representation of my day which includes A LOT of white space. This is extremely important in helping me with self-regulation by NOT over extending myslf.
